Lady Texans ranked 3rd in Nation after YBOA Nationals

From opening ceremonies to the level of game play, the experience was second to none. The way the girls came together and represented Laredo was even a greater experience that I myself (Coach) and the other parents were lucky enough to witness. I am very proud of our team. They amazed many and instantly became one of the favorite teams to watch while in Kissimmee, Florida. I really believe that when these girls all play together for one common goal they are unstoppable. Teamwork, selflessness, and heart.
To my girls, I thank you all for all your sacrafice, and hard work throughout the summer. We will continue to improve and impress many in all of our future tournaments! You all were already champions before we left to Florida. You have opened the door for Laredo. Our Laredo Lady Texans…same city, many from the same elementary school, and you went toe to toe with teams that hand picked girls from all across their state to form elite teams. That is simply amazing! You all are truly ELITE.
Parents I thank you for trusting me with your daughters each and everyday. They really are amazing kids! I have been blessed to have the opportunity to coach them, as well as learn from them. Without you all none of this is possible. Take a few weeks off…enjoy the great accomplishments. The basketball court is waiting for us
